Silva Method Club #2
'Vision is a picture of the future that produces passion' - Bill Hybels

Another great meeting of the Silva Method Club. The Reflective Space at Wisdom Centre was full of colours and positive energy. Besides learning new things, relaxation exercises, we had a time to create a vision board to help us fulfill our dreams and projects.
Everyone visualizes, whether they know it or not. Unfortunately, most of the time, people misuse their creative potential by visualizing negative outcomes.
You can creatively visualize positive outcomes in all aspects of your life: career/purpose, relationships, home, finances, health, spirituality, material things, and anything else you desire, including intangibles like feelings. Visualization puts the creative power of your imagination to good use!
At the Silva Club I was talking that the Silva Method is a great resource for learning effective creative visualization techniques. The technique itself is simple – close your eyes, and use your imagination to create a picture or feeling/sensation of what you want. But the Silva Method guidelines and exercises help you supercharge your visualization technique. Below you can find the most important tips about how this process works:
1. Decide and clearly state what you want.
2. You must believe that you can be, have or achieve your desire.
3. You must be relaxed.
4. Let it flow. When you’re relaxed and really in love with your dream, you will relish any time you spend visualizing it.
5. The most important part of visualization is emotion.
6. Supplement with affirmations.
The most important part of the Silva Club meeting was a creation of our own vision board. Why you should think about putting one together for yourself?
As having a vision board somewhere you can see if often, provides you with a reminder of what your goals are what you are working towards on a daily basis. It’s a handy tool to have when you encounter challenges and obstacles along the way. Pushing through barriers is easier when you have a visual reminder of why you are putting in the work! This is a great tool to help you with visualization. Also, a vision board provides you with physical pictures that you can focus on to help you make your goals a reality plus this tools allows you to open yourself up to the opportunities to make your dreams actually happen!
It works for me, so why it should not work for you! On the picture above you can see myself and my vision board that was created 4 years ago. 80% of these things/projects were already accomplished! Of course, I still have more dreams to achieve!
Please see below some few photos from our meeting.
