Create NEW REALITY through meditation

There is a common belief that people meditate to heal, to manifest, or to improve their lives. Yes, there is truth in this.

However, for more than 11 years, I have observed something deeper: through meditation practice, people don’t just heal, manifest, they become a new personality!

And when the personality changes, a new reality is created. Healing, abundance, joy, and fulfillment naturally follow.

Why does this happen?

Because meditation is essentially about:

Disconnecting from the outside world.

At its core, meditation is the intentional withdrawal of attention from external stimuli, noise, people, responsibilities, sensory overload. This isn’t avoidance; it’s strategic disengagement so the mind can reset and reorganize.

In the Silva Method, this disconnection is achieved by entering the Alpha brainwave state (and sometimes Theta). The countdown technique (e.g., 3-1, 10-1, or 100-1) systematically quiets the conscious, analytical mind and reduces sensory dominance. As brain frequency slows, awareness naturally shifts inward.

This state:

  • Reduces stress hormones
  • Calms the nervous system
  • Creates a mental “buffer” between you and external chaos

Sitting the body down and going beyond it.

Meditation begins with stillness of the body, but its real work happens beyond physical identity. When the body is relaxed and motionless, attention no longer needs to manage posture, balance, or movement.

Silva emphasizes progressive physical relaxation as a gateway to mental expansion. By relaxing the body deliberately, you:

  • Reduce somatic distractions
  • Shift dominance from sensory input to mental imagery
  • Access the “mind as a tool” rather than the body as a limitation

Once relaxed, the practitioner moves awareness to the mental screen, the inner visual field, where imagination, intuition, memory, and programming occur. This is where you stop being the body and start using it consciously.

No longer being a slave to the past or the future.

Most mental suffering comes from replaying the past or rehearsing the future. Meditation interrupts this loop and restores choice over attention.

Silva reframes time psychologically. In the Alpha state:

  • Past memories lose emotional charge
  • Future scenarios become programmable rather than anxiety-driven

Through mental rehearsal and positive programming, the practitioner revisits the past only to neutralize it and visualizes the future only to improve probability, not to worry.

Silva techniques help you:

  • Release emotional conditioning
  • Replace subconscious programs formed in childhood
  • Stop identifying with old mental narratives

You are no longer reacting from memory or fear, you are responding from awareness.

Finding and living in the present moment.

The present moment is where clarity, intuition, and effectiveness live. Meditation trains the mind to rest here, not as effort, but as natural awareness.

The Alpha level is essentially a heightened present-moment state. Attention is neither scattered nor dormant, it is alert, calm, and focused.

In this state:

  • Intuition becomes accessible
  • Problem-solving improves
  • Creativity increases
  • Mind-body healing responses activate

Silva also uses anchors (like the Three Fingers Technique) to quickly return to this state during daily life. This means the present moment is no longer limited to meditation sessions, it becomes portable.

It is the freedom of the present moment that creates the unknown.

In the past, you can only find what you already know. We try to predict the future based on the past, which limits true change. There is only one place where you can freely engage with something new: the precious present moment.

At first, this feels uncomfortable. You are moving out of familiar territory and into the unknown. The body, which has become accustomed to the old identity wants to stay where it feels safe. It will try to resist change. Our neurological, hormonal, biochemical, and even genetic structures are adapted to the old state of being, which is why change can feel so difficult.

This is why many people wait for a crisis or a low point before they are ready to change.

But you don’t have to wait.

Instead, you can deliberately bring yourself into a higher state of being inspired by a clear vision of your future and elevated by positive emotions.
