How to just simply mentally relax?

One of the most important keys to maintain good health is ability to relax. Relaxation is good for the body and also for the mind. You may struggle to become relaxed, or it seems to take a long time. However, there are some very simple and effective relaxation techniques available to you to help you become mentally calmer and physically relaxed.

We all struggled with the daily work-life responsibilities. We all feel like we are not doing enough for our children, partners, friends, so in our guilt, we do, do, do, do …to please all environment around us, but we keep forgetting about ourselves. In this blog post I would like to suggest you some tips about how you can learn to become mentally relaxed.

Change your environment for positive and more relaxing

Find a quiet place in your house or apartment where you can close your eyes comfortably and just “be” for a few minutes. Choose features that specifically help you mentally relax, such as soft music, candle, non-distracting lighting and agreeable room temperature. Brighten your room add some fresh flowers. It will definitely help you to relax mentally and become calmer with your thoughts.

Imagine and experience mentally your ideal place of relaxation

It has been proven that experiencing any scene that makes you feel tranquil and passive helps you relax mentally. Swinging on the hammock or being near water on nice summer day, feeling the warm sun, the sound of the waves may be a tranquil and relaxing scene for you. Once you find out what is a relaxing scene for you, please make sure to project yourself mentally to your ideal place of relaxation for a while. Take a deep breath and as you exhale, simply relax.

Repeat mentally or verbally your favourite affirmation

Affirmations do indeed strengthen us by helping us believe in the potential of an action we desire to manifest and are the great tool to help us relax mentally.

Please find below few of my favourite affirmations that will help you to relax mentally:

– Today, I am brimming with energy and overflowing with joy.

– My mind is relaxed and my body is healthy.

– My thoughts are filled with positivity and my life is plentiful with prosperity.

– My fears of tomorrow are simply melting away.

You can utilize any of these affirmations alone or create your own unique combination based on your personal wishes and needs. What is most important is to establish a profound communication with the universe – so say it with conviction – even if you are going to do it mentally, say it in your own unique voice, and make it happen in the real world.
